No matter the time period being covered, every game in the series has its collection of factions that are a challenge to master. As with every other Total War game, there are always factions that appear throughout your playthroughs that you never get to play as. Fans of the series will undoubtedly know that this is easier said than done for certain factions. The game features 12 playable factions at launch, without counting DLC and FLC characters. The Total War franchise encapsulates this difficulty by putting players in the shoes of great generals and statesmen and tasking them with leading their chosen country to greatness. Total War: Warhammer III also has a race pack DLC released as an early-adopter bonus (free to people who preordered the game or bought the game in the first week after release) called the Ogre Kingdoms. Grand strategy games, much like life itself, can be difficult. If there’s one specific faction you want to play, wipe out that faction in the campaign by killing every one of its family.
